In Judaism, Bar Mitzvah (m.), Bat Mitzvah (f.), or Bas Mitzvah (f.) (in Ashkenazi pronunciation),
and B'nai Mitzvah (pl.), are the terms to describe the day on which a Jewish boy or girl becomes
personally responsible for following the Jewish law, and is therefore a Jewish adult. Before this day, their
parents are responsible for their following of Jewish law.
Commemorate that special day with an embroidered afghan - a gift that will be enjoyed for years to
come. We will embroider the name and date on our 2 layer 48" x 68" cotton afghan available in
navy with warm blue on a cream background. Hebrew lettering also
available (call for instructions).
